# How do I create a relay password?

**Create a relay password in Manage access.** Long press the box tab in the [iPhone app](/get) or the [web app](/pwa). Tap **Manage access**.

### Create a password

1. Long press the box tab
2. Tap **Manage access**
3. Tap **Share access**
4. Pick **View only** to watch the dashboard, or **Take actions** to start, stop, and edit
5. Name it if you want — `laptop`, `Grok`, `Mom`, `Wife`
6. Confirm it is you
7. Tap **Show** and copy the password

The sheet also lists **Hostname** (`yourname.bud.trading`) and **Trusted IP**.

### Where to use it

- Another phone or browser: Settings → Servers → **Connect to a cloud server**
- Grok, Claude, ChatGPT, or Cursor: paste host and password on [cryptobud.app/mcp](/mcp)
- Someone who should only watch: send them the hostname and a **View only** password

### Your first password

The ready email **Your CryptoBud server is ready** has the first password. **Your password** in Manage access is that one. Show it or **Rotate** it there. If that email never arrived, [Why didn't I get my CryptoBud email?](/help/why-didnt-i-get-my-cryptobud-email)

### Remove a password

In **Manage access**, tap **Remove** on a shared password. That connection stops. **Rotate** on **Your password** changes the first one. Devices still using the old value need the new one.
