# How do I use Grok Bot with X cashtags?

On X, a cashtag is a `$ticker` search. Twitter called it the same thing. `$ETH` is Ethereum talk. `$SOL` is Solana. `$BTC` is Bitcoin.

Claude, ChatGPT, and Cursor can talk to Bud. For cashtags you want Grok Bot. SuperGrok has it, and some Cursor plans include it. Regular Grok on grok.com talks to Bud. The Bot keeps your X session on a computer and opens `$ETH` from there.

### How to add CryptoBud MCP to Grok Bot[

- Go to [cryptobud.app/mcp](/mcp)

- Paste host and password. Pick **demo** for paper or **live**

- Click **Grok Bot**, then **Copy**

- Open [grok.com/connectors

- **Name:** CryptoBud. **Server URL:** paste. Save

- In Grok Bot, turn **CryptoBud** on in that chat after you save it

### How to sign into X on Grok Bot's remote computer[

Every Grok Bot on your account shares one cloud computer. Cookies stay. The next cashtag page opens as you.

Give the intent in chat first. Then, when it needs X:

- Open **Agent Computer** from the conversation

- When it asks, **take over**. Do the human step yourself

- Go to [x.com
(opens in a new tab)](https://x.com) and sign in. Type the password, passkey, or 2FA yourself. Leave those out of chat

- Hand control back. Grok Bot takes over and researches from your intent

Use an X account you are willing to leave signed in. Other Bots on your account can see that session. Sign out on the computer when you want that account gone.

If X asks for a code or a CAPTCHA again later, take over. Guessing it from chat fails.

### What Grok Bot does after you sign in[

You signed in. Grok Bot takes control. It opens the X cashtag page as you and reads your book through Bud. Lots, forecast, and X sentiment land on the same names. `$ETH` if that was the intent. `$SOL` or `$BTC` if those are on the book.

Intent you can give before it asks you to sign in:

- What's the `$ETH` cashtag saying, and how does that match my book?

- Is `$SOL` noise, or is my pair late?

- Pull my open pairs. Check each cashtag on X. What is actually moving?

- How am I doing this week, and is X loud on those names?

Turn CryptoBud on in that chat before you start. Attach it with `@` if Grok Bot wants the connector on the task.
