# Terms of Use

Legal

**These are the rules for using CryptoBud.** If you use the iPhone app, the web app, this website, a CryptoBud cloud box, or the free demonstration, you agree to them.

## Who we are[

](#who-we-are)

CryptoBud is a Binance Spot crypto trading bot operated by Intenseloop, Inc. Email: [support@cryptobud.app](mailto:support@cryptobud.app)

Binance holds your coins. Apple or Stripe bills the subscription. We ship an [iPhone app](/get) and a [web app](/pwa). They connect to the box on your account — your paid box after you subscribe, or the demonstration box when you try for free.

## What CryptoBud is — and is not[

](#what-cryptobud-is-and-is-not)

CryptoBud runs a trading plan for you on a private cloud box.

It is **not**:

- Financial advice

- A broker

- An exchange

- A wallet or custodian

- A promise that you will make money

CryptoBud helps you build better discipline and risk management — not guaranteed wins.

You keep your coins on Binance. We do not hold them, we do not sell crypto to you, and we do not take a cut of your trades.

## Who can use CryptoBud[

](#who-can-use-cryptobud)

You must be at least **18**. You sign in with Apple (iPhone app and this website) or Google (website checkout and box setup). Same email on both is one account. Hide My Email from Apple is a different address. You can pay in the App Store or with a card on the web. Live trading also needs a Binance Spot account. Binance requires 18, and 21 in some regions. By using CryptoBud you confirm you meet that.

## Paper vs live[

](#paper-vs-live)

**Paper trading** uses fake money on real Binance Spot prices. No exchange keys. You can lose nothing but time.

**Live trading** uses real money on your Binance Spot account through API keys you create. You can lose money. You are responsible for those trades — including while you sleep, if the bot is running.

You choose when to go live. We do not.

Live on a Bud Box is one venue: Binance.com, Binance.US, or Binance Testnet. After you pick, that live book stays on that venue.

For live mode you must use a trade-only key with withdrawals off. You whitelist the IP we give you. If you hand CryptoBud a key that can withdraw, the product refuses it — do not turn withdrawals on later.

Binance’s rules still apply to your account. If Binance limits, bans, or loses access, that is between you and Binance.

## Try for free[

](#try-for-free)

Sign in on the [web app](/pwa) without a paid box and you can watch CryptoBud on a box we operate. That access is **read-only**. You cannot trade on it, change its plan, or use it as your own server.

The box runs **live on Binance Testnet**. We keep it up for demonstrations. Testnet balances have no cash value.

Our live book with real money is public at [bud.trading/bud
Opens in a new tab](https://bud.trading/bud). That page shows trades from funds we run ourselves. Anyone can open it.

## Your private cloud box[

](#your-private-cloud-box)

A subscription includes a private cloud box that runs the bot. The box is yours for the subscription term.

Each box can run **as many sandboxes as you want**. We may later set a maximum number of sandboxes per box. If we do, we will email you first and give you options before that limit applies.

We operate that box (provision, repair, replace, destroy).

If you cancel, you keep the box until the end of the period you already paid for. Then we destroy it.

If a renewal payment fails, the box stays up for **seven days** while Apple or Stripe retry the charge. If payment still fails after those seven days, we destroy it.

Destroying the box stops the bot. Open orders stay on Binance. What to do with live trades: [What happens when my subscription ends?](/help/what-happens-when-my-subscription-ends)

If Apple or Stripe refund or revoke the purchase, we destroy the box when that happens.

Once we destroy the box, the data on it is gone.

Do not use the box for anything except CryptoBud. Do not attack it, resell it, or run other workloads on it.

The handle you pick is used in a public DNS name (`yourname.bud.trading`) and qualifies you for an optional public profile at `bud.trading/yourname`. Pick one you are willing to have visible.

**Public profile.** Off by default. If you turn it on in the app, anyone can view your trading stats, recent trades, bio, avatar, and social links at that URL. You can turn it off again anytime.

Some names cannot be claimed: infrastructure and product names (for example `www`, `mail`, `app`, `server`), our brand names, and names we treat as abusive or pornographic. Seeing a handle as available in the app is not a promise we will keep that name forever.

We can reclaim a handle when we need it for the service, when it infringes someone else’s rights, or when it violates these terms. If we reclaim yours, we will give you another name and help you move. Email [support@cryptobud.app](mailto:support@cryptobud.app).

## Account[

](#account)

You sign in with Apple or Google. Keep that sign-in under your control. You are responsible for activity on your CryptoBud account.

The activation email has the **server address** and the first **relay password**. Anyone who has the address and a password can connect to that box from the iPhone app or the web app. If you share them, you are responsible for what that person does on the box. We are not.

Create another password from **Manage access** in the iPhone app or the web app. Show, change, or remove passwords there. Routine access should not need our help.

If you chose **Hide My Email** at Sign in with Apple, Apple gives us a `@privaterelay.appleid.com` address. We send from `hello@mail.bud.trading`. Apple forwards that mail only while Hide My Email for CryptoBud is on and that sender is allowed through. Steps are in [Why didn't I get my CryptoBud email?](/help/why-didnt-i-get-my-cryptobud-email). You can also email [support@cryptobud.app](mailto:support@cryptobud.app) from an address you can open and we will change the email on your account at no charge.

Email [support@cryptobud.app](mailto:support@cryptobud.app) for anything else. If the problem is on us — a bug, our infrastructure — we fix it at no charge. Changing the account email after a Hide My Email block is free. If you need hands-on help on your box (recover lost credentials, reset live to change venue, or similar), close open live lots on the old venue first where that applies. Hands-on support may be billed once per request — email support before we start.

## Subscription and payment[

](#subscription-and-payment)

CryptoBud is a paid auto-renewing subscription when you want your own private cloud box. You can sign in on the [web app](/pwa) and watch the demonstration without buying. Plans today:

- Weekly

- Monthly

- Yearly

**App Store:** prices appear in the App Store purchase sheet and in the CryptoBud app. They can differ by country. The sheet is the price you pay in the app. Payment is charged to your Apple ID at confirmation of purchase. You manage or cancel in your Apple ID → Subscriptions.

**Web / Stripe:** prices are on [checkout](/checkout). We collect a card there. If a free trial is offered on a new account, the first charge is after the trial unless you cancel before it ends. You manage or cancel in Stripe.

If we change subscription pricing, your next renewal uses the price then in effect, after Apple or Stripe show it to you.

There is no per-trade fee and no cut of profits.

The subscription **renews automatically** unless you turn auto-renew off at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. If you cancel, you keep access until the end of the period you already paid for.

If a 3-day free trial is offered, it applies to the first purchase on a new account. A later purchase on that account is charged at confirmation. Any unused part of a trial is forfeited when you buy.

Refunds for App Store purchases are handled by Apple, not by us. Request one at [reportaproblem.apple.com
Opens in a new tab](https://reportaproblem.apple.com). We cannot promise Apple will approve it. For web / Stripe charges, email [support@cryptobud.app](mailto:support@cryptobud.app).

## Acceptable use[

](#acceptable-use)

Do not:

- Use CryptoBud to break the law, Binance’s terms, or Apple’s terms

- Share your account or your box as a public service

- Attack or overload the service

We can suspend or destroy a cloud box if you abuse the service. See Ending the service.

## Bud Intelligence[

](#bud-intelligence)

Bud Intelligence is an AI chat that can see your real portfolio and can draft actions. Automated trading under your plan can buy and sell without asking each time. Chat buys wait for you to confirm.

AI can be wrong. Check the preview. You are still responsible for what gets traded.

Bud Intelligence in the CryptoBud app is included in the subscription. Each Bud Box, including its sandboxes, shares one pool of **$4 USD** of inference per calendar month. That is usually enough. You can always connect to [Bud MCP](/mcp) and use your own AI provider — Grok, Claude, ChatGPT, Cursor, or another MCP client — to run your queries. It is basically the same portfolio access, but outside the CryptoBud app, and it does not spend this pool.

If you hit the pool, email [support@cryptobud.app](mailto:support@cryptobud.app). We will look at usage on that box. We may raise the limit for that box. If we cannot, we will say why and what you can do next.

## No warranty[

](#no-warranty)

CryptoBud is provided **as is**. Trading bots break. Markets gap. Networks fail. Apple, Hetzner, Cloudflare, Binance, Cursor, or Stripe can be down. We do not promise uninterrupted service, profitable trades, or that paper results will match live.

## Limitation of liability[

](#limitation-of-liability)

To the fullest extent the law allows, Intenseloop and CryptoBud are not liable for lost profits, lost coins, missed trades, or other damages from using (or not being able to use) the service.

## Ending the service[

](#ending-the-service)

You can cancel anytime in Apple Subscriptions or in Stripe. You keep access until the end of the period you already paid for. Then the box is destroyed as described under Your private cloud box.

We can suspend or destroy a box, and close the account, if you break these terms, abuse the service, or we have to under law. We will email the address on the account when we can. If the problem is an attack, fraud, or a legal order, we may act first and write after.

If we stop offering CryptoBud entirely, we will say so on this page and by email. Paid time you already bought still runs to the end of that period, unless the law requires us to stop sooner.

## Disputes and governing law[

](#disputes-and-governing-law)

If something is wrong, email [support@cryptobud.app](mailto:support@cryptobud.app) first. Tell us what happened and what you want. We will look at it and write back.

App Store charges: refund requests go through Apple at [reportaproblem.apple.com
Opens in a new tab](https://reportaproblem.apple.com). We cannot override Apple's decision.

Web / Stripe charges: email us. We decide those refunds.

Brazilian law governs these terms. If you bought as a consumer, Law 8.078/1990 (the Consumer Defense Code) applies and you keep every right it gives you, including suing in the court of your home city when that law allows it. Other disputes go to the Brazilian courts where Intenseloop is based.

## Changes[

](#changes)

We can change the product, the prices, and these terms. We will update this page when the terms change. If you keep using CryptoBud after that, the new terms apply. If you do not agree, cancel in Apple Subscriptions or Stripe.
