CryptoBud vs Bitsgap
Bitsgap alternative
Bitsgap is a multi-exchange bot dashboard: GRID, DCA, COMBO, a 7-day Pro trial, and Demo mode with $100,000 virtual. Demo simulates their order book. Live means API keys on Bitsgap’s encrypted servers. CryptoBud is one Binance Spot bot on a box that is yours — not a terminal you configure.

How you get started
Bitsgap’s three steps are sign up, connect exchanges, launch bots. CryptoBud’s first minutes never open Binance.
- Homepage: sign up, connect exchanges, launch bots. “Start with a Demo mode where you trade in live market simulation without risking your funds.”3
- You pick GRID, DCA, BTD, LOOP, COMBO, or QFL — then set pairs and size. Quick Setup exists. You still build the bot.3
- iOS app exists — Bitsgap: Crypto Trading Bots, 4.3 stars from 11 ratings when we checked.5
Paper trading
Bitsgap Demo is a simulator of their dashboard. CryptoBud paper trading is the same bot you will take live.
- Demo page: $100,000 virtual, real-time prices from 17 exchanges, GRID / DCA / COMBO. “No credit card, KYC and exchange account.”1
- “The Bitsgap Demo works by replicating an actual order book from the supported exchange.” That is their simulation, not your Binance account.1
- Help center: AI Assistant is not included in Demo. Free plan after the trial keeps Demo bots with limits.2,4
Where keys live
Both products keep coins on the exchange. Bitsgap still holds the API key.
Does practice match live?
Bitsgap shows Demo vs live as two modes. Backtests get longer as you pay more. That is the gap.
What it costs
Bitsgap sells plan tiers. Live bots past the trial need a paid plan. CryptoBud is a flat weekly subscription for the private box.
- Pricing page (yearly): Basic $23/month ($29 monthly), Advanced $55 ($69), Pro $119 ($149). 7-day Pro trial, no credit card. After that, Free or pay.4,3
- Free plan: 20 active bots in Demo, 3 COMBO bots on Evedex, no live GRID/DCA on your exchange.4
- CryptoBud is $5/week in the iOS app ($20/month, $220/year). Flat — no fee on your trades, no cut of profits.
Who should pick which
Bitsgap. Someone who wants one dashboard across many exchanges, will set up GRID or DCA bots, and is willing to store trade keys on Bitsgap.
CryptoBud. Someone who wants the product to pick the coins, run them on a private box, and not learn a bot builder.
Common questions
They call it Demo mode: $100,000 virtual, GRID / DCA / COMBO, no exchange required. It replicates the exchange order book inside Bitsgap. AI Assistant is not in Demo. CryptoBud starts with paper trading as the default — the same bot you take live, on a box that is yours.
