What happens when my subscription ends?
The box stays up for seven days after a failed renewal. Then we destroy it. The bot stops. Open Binance orders stay on Binance. Flatten from the Binance UI before the box dies.
Seven days, then the box is gone. Cancel and you keep the box until the period you already paid for ends. A failed renewal keeps it up for seven days while Apple or Stripe retry. After that we destroy the server, the disks, and the DNS name.
If Apple or Stripe refund or revoke the purchase, we destroy the box when that happens.
Live trading when the box dies
The bot stops. It cannot place, cancel, or manage orders after the VM is gone.
Open orders stay on Binance. Spot buys and take-profits already sitting there stay there. We do not cancel them for you.
Coins stay on Binance. Destroying the box does not sell anything and does not touch your exchange account.
How to flatten from Binance
Do this before the seven days run out if you can. After destroy, the app cannot talk to that box.
- Sign in at binance.comOpens in a new tab or the Binance app
- Orders → Spot → Open Orders. Cancel working orders
- Wallet → Fiat and Spot. Sell the coins the bot bought if you want USDT back
- Leftover crumbs: What to do with leftover coins →
The Binance website does not use the API key IP. You can do this after the box is gone.
The IP whitelist after destroy
The live key is locked to the box IP we emailed you. After destroy that IP is gone. The key still exists on Binance, but Binance will refuse API calls from any other IP. The key is bricked for API use until you delete it or remove the IP restriction in API Management.
Delete that key in Binance when you are done. Do not leave a trade-only key pointing at a dead IP.
Pause now, destroy later
If the subscription is still live and you want the bot off today, pause or stop Live in the app. How to stop live trading →
